Welcome to Ashley House

Ashley House is a residential Care Home registered with the SSSC, to accommodate the elderly. Ashley House was established and first registered back in 1986 by Mrs Jane Allan, who still remains actively involved within the business. The Care Home is now run by Jane’s daughter, Manager Ashley Hume, who has recently stepped down from her nursing career to fully commit to the running of the home. Newly appointed Deputy Manager, Sarah McGregor has over 21 years of experience at Ashley House and newly appointed Office Manager, Laura Bruce has been part of the Ashley House team now for 6 years and currently undergoing her SVQ Level 3 in social healthcare.

Philosophy of Care

The home is attractively situated within its own secluded landscaped gardens on the periphery of the village Milnathort and is within easy walking distance of local shops and amenities. The Care Home is conveniently located closely to the M90, North and South bound, therefore, travelling is made easy to many areas within and around Perthshire and Fife.

Our carefully selected staff provide a high standard of professional care 24 hours a day. The staff are trained both internally and externally to use practised methods and skills, enabling a better understanding and recognition of the importance of the client’s needs.

A greater awareness is given to values such as respect, dignity, privacy, confidentiality, independence and clients choice. The rersidnets rights are also of paramount importance.

At Ashley House, our main aims and objectives within the establishment is to provide a quality of care tailored to suit each individual’s own personal needs, whilst working closely with both clients and relatives.
